I had a really great time up at Hubbard Lake West Wind Cottages! At the cottages, I was impressed how clean and accommadating the cottages were. I had a lot of fun and would rent again!!

If you are bringing a boat to Hubbard Lake and there is no lift available for rent, I suggest you try another rental.

My issue is with the lack of parking. I was told that there were no lifts available for my boat and that they did not allow their guests to tie up to the dock. I knew this before I arrived. What they failed to tell me is that there is very limited parking and there is no parking anywhere near the cottage and there is no place to charge the batteries on my boat. If I had known this in advance I would have found another place to stay.

The cottage was well equipped and clean. The grounds were well kept and there was a good view of the lake. Unfortunately the negatives out-weighed the good for me.

Overpriced and underwhelming. I recommend looking to stay anywhere else if possible. The docking setup horrendous. You have to climb down a sketchy ladder or walk through the lake just to get to your boat. The 4 very old and antiquated cabins are adequate for two individuals or two couples only, and are decently maintained. This place is definitely just a cash grab, and the owner acts like there is a stick shoved up somewhere it shouldn't be. Great sunsets.

i found everything to be just like it states in their ads. will be going back in a few days. had a grate time last year and if the weather is good it will be grate again. I highly consider this to be the best fishing trip of all that I have taken and that`s saying a lot. I have fished all over this state and Hubbard is the best when it comes to the small mouth bass. Cabin was clean and well kept, however the cabin we stayed in, the wood was stored in the porch where it was exposed to the outdoors. It rained most of the week, so the wood was often wet, we had to purchase starter logs just to make sure we could keep the cabin warm. Other than that, it was a decent place to stay.
