I don't know where he/she stayed but I had plenty of hot water and my room was clean and no smells. So if your looking for a place to stay at a good rate than this is the place. Its close to everything Hubbard Lake, Bars , Restaurants. We didn't have to drive we just took a stroll I loved it.
Room was spacious enough, but shower/toilet area is tiny. Walls were thin enough that if next to loud people it will wake you or keep you awake plus you can hear talking through the vents. Soap is provided but no other toiletries. Plenty of towels, though the typical thin & scratchy kind. TV is too small for room size. Fixtures are outdated. Bed is OK - not super soft but not lumpy or uneven. It's convenient, but the property itself isn't that great (doesn't really look like a cute old-timey motel). Some old-type odor but I've stayed in worse. There is not A/C so don't stay in the heat of the summer. I think the price was rather high for what you got. I could stay again if I had too, but I would be super excited about it.

Great location! Within walking distance of everything you could ever need - restaurants, gas station, boat launch, etc. The owner is incredibly accommodating. Felt like I was at home the whole time. Highly recommend it!
It was nice. It could use some updates but I enjoyed myself.
